Defensive Reads

Look for stacked box fronts with linebackers creeping to the strong side, this play struggles when the defense sells out with an extra defender at the point of attack. Run 94 Will on early downs like first and second and ten to stay ahead of the chains and keep defenses honest against your play-action shots. Check the box count before the snap, if the defense has six or fewer in the box this play has a strong numbers advantage at the point of attack. Use pre-snap motion or a quick glance at safety depth to confirm run support is light before committing to the strong side hole. Pair this with PA Power O or Power O Alert X Smoke off the same look so linebackers keying run flow get punished for crashing down. Mix in HB Counter Str or HB Counter Wk later in the series so defenders who overplay the strong side get gashed going the other direction.
