Defensive Reads

Watch for user controlled defenders flowing hard to the flat or dropping into a lurk technique, since an unblocked user linebacker sitting in the box can blow up the draw before the FB gets a clean lead block.

Avoid calling HB Draw against disciplined defenses that show contain rush technique or spy linebackers sitting in the box, since the delayed action gives backside pursuit time to close.

Pair this with PA Power O or Off Tackle from the same set so the defense cannot sit on the run key without also respecting the play-action pass threat.

Use manual control on the HB after the handoff to make a one cut decision quickly, since draws lose effectiveness the longer the ball carrier hesitates in the backfield.
