Look for user controlled defenders crashing down early since that tells you the cutback lane will be there if the FB seals the edge. This play struggles against gap exchange fronts and disciplined defensive tackles who hold their gaps, so expect limited running room versus a 46 Bear front or heavy odd fronts stacked inside. Check the box count before the snap and only run this into light boxes of six or fewer defenders since the extra gaps from the FB and TE need numbers to work. Use the right stick to manually control the HB's vision and patience, letting the FB block develop before committing to a gap. Pair this with HB Lead Draw and Lead Draw from the same set to keep linebackers guessing on run action out of similar personnel. Best used on early downs like first and second and short to medium yardage situations where defenses are less likely to load the box with extra DBs.
