Z Close PA Flood is a play-action pass out of Shotgun Wing Slot Offset that sells a run fake before flooding one side of the field with three levels of routes. The backside receiver runs a deep corner route to occupy the far safety while the play side stacks a vertical seam from the inline TE and an outside corner breaking route from the flanker, creating a high-low flood read against Cover 3 and other zone shells. Defensive Reads

Identify the middle of field safety alignment before the snap. A single high safety confirms Cover 3 or Cover 1, which this flood concept is designed to beat. Usage Tips
