Playbooks
Giants Offense and its sibling cut, NFL Live Giants Offense, are functionally the same book: 607 shared plays out of 607, zero set differences. Pick whichever one your menu surfaces first, because there is no hidden formation or bonus concept sitting in one and not the other. The only thing that matters is that you are choosing a 607 play offensive sheet, which is larger than 76% of the game's 64 offensive team playbooks, so you are buying volume across 42 sets rather than a lean, memorize-it-in-a-week install.
The identity here is Shotgun, and it is not subtle. 457 of the 607 plays (75%) live in Shotgun across 27 sets, which is where nearly all of your passing game, your RPO looks and your gun run concepts come from. Singleback adds 87 plays (14%) over 7 sets as the under center counterweight with true dropback pass and Power Run material. Pistol contributes 36 plays (6%) across 4 sets, giving you a middle ground where run and pass share the same backfield picture. After that the book thins out fast: Goal Line Offense is a single set with 12 plays, I Form is a single set with 12 plays, and Hail Mary is 3 plays across 2 sets.
Personnel range is the real selling point behind the Shotgun mass. You get 11, 10, 12, 13, 21, 23 and 30 groupings, so a Shotgun heavy game plan can still show 3 TE and 3 RB pictures without abandoning the formation family you have practiced in. The concept list matches that: Play Action, Power, Power Run, Counter, Toss, Dive on the run side, Spot, Flat, Motion and Cover 3 Beater on the pass side. Sample plays like Double Dig and Bench show the intermediate zone attack, 26 Duo and 0 1 Trap cover the gap scheme run game, and FB Dive plus Goal Post handle the short yardage and desperation ends of the sheet. This supports a spread first game plan that leans on pre snap motion and hot routes from Shotgun, then uses Singleback and Pistol as your tempo and tendency breakers.
This playbook wants a quarterback comfortable operating from Shotgun on nearly every snap, with enough accuracy in the short and intermediate windows to live on Spot, Flat and dig combos, plus enough mobility to handle gun run reads and play action rollouts. Because 23, 30 and 13 personnel all appear inside a Shotgun heavy sheet, you benefit from a receiving back who can align in the slot, a tight end with real route running, and a fullback or blocking tight end who can actually hold up on FB Dive and Power out of Goal Line Offense and I Form. Pick Giants Offense if you are a spread first play caller who wants maximum Shotgun variety and 607 plays of depth, and who will put in the work to keep the 14% Singleback and 6% Pistol blocks live instead of drifting into a five set gun rotation.
Search every playbook by tag and personnel grouping, not just Giants Offense.
Build your audible package almost entirely from Shotgun since 27 sets and 457 plays live there. Slot one 11 personnel set for your base dropback and Cover 3 Beater work, one 10 personnel spread set for third and long, and one heavier 12 or 13 gun set so you can run Power and Counter without changing formation family.
Reserve a Singleback set as your second and short and second and medium call. With 87 plays across 7 sets, Singleback is where your Play Action and Power Run overlap, and it is the only place a run look sells a deep shot after you have shown gun all quarter.
Use Pistol sparingly and deliberately, on first and ten early in a half. Four sets and 36 plays is enough to reset an opponent's read on your backfield alignment but not enough to survive as a primary base.
Save I Form and Goal Line Offense for inside the five and fourth and one only. Twelve plays each means repetition gets diagnosed fast, so pair FB Dive with a play action shot from the same personnel rather than running it twice in a series.
Lean on Motion concepts before the snap out of your Shotgun sets to confirm man or zone, then hot route into Spot or Flat combos against man and let Double Dig style digs work the middle against zone.
