Slant Flat

The Slant Flat tag identifies plays built around the classic slant-flat high-low combo, where an inside slant attacks the window behind flat defenders while a quick flat route stresses the curl-to-flat defender horizontally. It spans 58 plays across 48 sets and 4 formations, from Singleback, Shotgun, Pistol, and Weak I looks like Trips, Bunch, and 5WR Tight, including RPO-style Zone Alert Smoke and Zone Alert Bubble calls. Competitive players use this tag to quickly filter quick-game Cover 3 and man beaters that pair with pre-snap reads, hot routes, and fast releases against heavy blitz or nano pressure.
