Call this on early downs like first and ten or second and short so the run fake actually holds linebackers and safeties who are keying run tendencies.

Look for safeties creeping into the box pre-snap since that confirms they are respecting the counter action and opens up the deep corner route.

If you see man coverage with no deep safety help to the corner route side, take the shot immediately off the play fake instead of working through the full progression.
