TE Option out of Singleback Ace 12 personnel sends both outside receivers on deep breaking routes, with the X running a deep out and the flanker on a corner route to stretch the defense vertically and horizontally. The Y (inline TE) runs the option route, sitting or breaking based on the underneath defender while the other TE releases from the backfield area on a flat to seam route working up the sideline. This is a man beater built around the option route creating natural rub leverage, with the primary read starting on the TE option and progressing to the flat to seam route if the option gets taken away.
