Key on nickel or slot defenders sitting at the sticks, since they are the most common user controlled threats trying to jump the shorter hitch reads.

Usage Tips

Identify pre-snap whether the defense is showing off man press or soft zone, since hitches thrive against zone cushions of seven yards or more.

Use your hot route menu to convert the outside hitch into a fade or slant if you see press man corners jumping the route early.

This play is money on third and short to third and medium since the sit routes give quick, easy separation against zone drops without needing a deep shot.

Pair RNS Hitches with RNS Streak or RNS Switch Streak in the same set to condition zone defenders to sink, then punish them later with a vertical shot off the same formation.

Snap the ball quickly once you see zone match or Tampa 2 shells, since hitches settle right into the soft spots those coverages leave underneath.
