Defensive Reads

Usage Tips
Use this play on third and short to medium when you expect man coverage since the double move nature of the fade stop concept is designed to break ankles against aggressive corners playing tight technique. Check the cornerback alignment pre snap, if you see press man with no safety help over the top, key on the play side fade stop and be ready to pump the stop portion of the route to bait a jump before hitting the corner route breaking behind it. Against off coverage or zone shells, prioritize the two vertical seam routes since the fade stops will not create the same separation without a defender biting on the initial fade release.
