Bounce RPO Read Bubble is a run-pass option built off an outside zone bounce action, giving the quarterback a pre-and-post-snap read between handing off the ball and throwing a bubble screen to the slot receiver. The offensive line executes zone blocking with the intent to bounce the run wide, while the backside slot runs the bubble as the built-in RPO throw option. The primary read progression is the alley or slot defender: if that defender crashes down on the run fit, the quarterback pulls and throws the bubble, and if that defender sits on the bubble, the quarterback hands off and lets the back bounce it outside.
