User controlled defenders spying the QB from depth are the biggest threat to shut down the keep option, so if you see a spy alignment, lean toward giving the ball to the HB instead.

Usage Tips

Check the box count before the snap and only call this against six or fewer defenders in the box to guarantee a numbers advantage. Identify the read defender on the play side edge and manually option off him if the CPU logic hesitates, pulling the ball when he crashes down on the HB. Use this on early downs in normal or run heavy personnel situations to keep defenses honest and set up your play action shots later in the drive. Pair this with PA Flip Counter or Bounce PA Post Curls from the same set since both plays sell the same backfield action and punish defenders keying the run fits too aggressively. Against teams that load the box or bring extra defenders down, switch to RPO Alert Bubble Dive or RPO Alert Split Bubble to force a conflict on the flat defender.
