Playbooks
Panthers Offense and its sibling cut, NFL Live Panthers Offense, are functionally the same book. They share all 586 of this playbook's plays and differ by zero sets, so there is no hidden formation or bonus concept sitting in one version that the other lacks. Pick whichever one your menu surfaces first and spend your prep time on audible packages instead of hunting for a difference that does not exist.
At 586 plays across 8 formations and 43 sets, this is a mid-small offensive book (larger than 19% of the game's 64 offensive team playbooks) that is heavily shotgun-weighted. Shotgun accounts for 361 plays (62%) spread over 22 sets, which is where nearly all of your route combo variety lives: Pass Play and Play Action calls, Spot concepts, Flat reads, Cover 3 Beater tags, and Motion built directly into the play art. Singleback adds 114 plays (19%) across 9 sets as the balanced middle gear, and Pistol contributes 63 plays (11%) across 5 sets for downhill Power Run and Counter work out of a shotgun-depth look.
Everything else is situational trim. Strong I (15 plays), Goal Line Offense (12 plays), I Form (9 plays), and Weak I (9 plays) combine for under 8% of the book, with FB Dive, Toss, Dive, and Power showing up as the short-yardage answers. Hail Mary gets 3 plays across 2 sets with Goal Post as the end-of-half swing. The game plan this supports is a spread passing attack that uses Pistol and Singleback gap runs (0 1 Trap, Cheat HB Zone) to keep light boxes honest, then leans on 11 and 20 personnel shotgun sets to attack man and zone from the same formation shells.
Panthers Offense wants a quarterback who is comfortable operating from depth on every snap: accurate on the move for play-action rollouts out of shotgun and Pistol, with enough speed that scramble lanes out of 5 empty-ish 11 and 20 personnel sets are a real threat. The 62% shotgun weighting rewards two quick-separation receivers and a receiving back who can win the Flat read, while the small Strong I, I Form, Weak I, and Goal Line Offense packages still want one big-bodied fullback and a downhill back for Dive and FB Dive work. Pick this book if you are a spread passer who calls Motion first and reads coverage second, and pass on it if your roster is built on a power run game, because the under-center run plays simply are not there in volume.
Search every playbook by tag and personnel grouping, not just Panthers Offense.
Build your primary audible package entirely out of shotgun sets and make sure the four slots cover one Pass Play, one Play Action, one Power Run, and one Cover 3 Beater so you can answer any look without leaving the formation.
On first and second down between the 20s, alternate Pistol Counter and Power Run with Singleback Cheat HB Zone. Those are your only real ways to force a base defense, and Pistol's 5 sets are the look opponents rep least.
Save Spot and Flat concepts for third and medium (4 to 7 yards). Use a motion call first to confirm man coverage, then hot route the backside receiver on a drag if the defender travels.
Go to Strong I, I Form, or Weak I only on third and 1 or fourth and 1. With 33 total plays across those four one-set formations, treat them as short-yardage packages, not as a base personnel group.
Keep Goal Line Offense's 12 plays in a separate audible slot and mix FB Dive with the goal line Power call. Do not show FB Dive twice in a row inside the 3 or a user linebacker will be sitting in the A gap.
Leave Hail Mary alone until you are inside 10 seconds. Goal Post is the only call in that 3 play group worth running from outside the 40.
