Mtn Y Lead Read Option is a zone read run play out of the Shotgun Y Off Trips Wk set, featuring a pre-snap motion into a lead blocking arrangement with the TE (Y) leading through the hole. The QB reads the play side defensive end or first threat off the edge, either handing off to the HB on the give or pulling the ball and attacking the alley himself. Defensive Reads
