Usage Tips

Check the defender count in the box before the snap, if there are six or fewer in the box, key the run and let the zone play develop naturally.

Watch the alley defender responsible for the bubble receiver, if he sits at depth or shows blitz, the bubble throw is nearly automatic for a free five to eight yards.

Use this play on early downs to stay ahead of the chains, it punishes defenses that overload the box to stop inside zone.

Pair this call with RPO Alert Screen or RPO Peek Slant later in a drive so defenders hesitate on run fits, opening up more explosive plays once they respect the bubble.

Avoid calling this against heavy zone blitz packages since extra rushers can blow up the mesh point before the QB can properly read the alley defender.
