Playbooks
Start with the honest part: NFL Live Cardinals Offense and its sibling cut, Cardinals Offense, are the same book. They share all 603 plays and differ by zero sets, so there is no hidden formation, no extra Pistol set and no exclusive concept waiting in one that the other lacks. The only reason to pick NFL Live Cardinals Offense over the other label is presentation and menu preference. If you have already built an audible package in one, you can carry it over play for play without relearning a single set.
What you actually get is a big, Shotgun-dominant spread book. At 603 plays across 7 formations and 42 sets, it is larger than 63% of the game's 64 offensive team playbooks, and 365 of those plays (61%) live in Shotgun across 23 sets. That is the widest part of the book by a mile and it means you can play an entire game from one formation family while still rotating personnel between 11, 10 and 20 groupings. Singleback adds 104 plays (17%) across 8 sets for the heavier dropback and one-back run game, and Pistol contributes 96 plays (16%) across 6 sets, which is a genuinely deep Pistol allotment for a team book and the piece that makes the run and play action game believable from a gun look.
The concept list tells you the game plan it supports: Play Action, Pass Play, Power, Power Run, Counter, Toss, Dive, Spot, Flat, Motion and Cover 3 Beater tags. That is a gap scheme run game (26 Duo, Counter Weak, 0 1 Trap) paired with quick spacing concepts (Curls, Bench, Spot) and a Cover 3 Beater bucket for the zone-heavy users you will meet online. Heavy is a cameo: Strong I (12 plays), I Form (9 plays) and Goal Line Offense (14 plays, one set) exist for short yardage and nothing more, plus 3 Hail Mary plays across 2 sets for end-of-half desperation. Goal Post is there when you need it once a game.
This book wants a quarterback who is comfortable at gun depth and can handle Pistol run fakes and Play Action rollouts, so accuracy on the move and at least average speed matter more than raw pocket arm talent. The run game is gap based (Power, Counter, Toss, Trap), which means pulling guards with high run block power and strength, plus a fullback or tight end who can block from the 21, 22 and 23 groupings the book carries. Pick NFL Live Cardinals Offense if you like calling 60% of your snaps from one Shotgun family, rotating personnel with formation subs, and want a deep Pistol run package attached rather than a traditional under-center identity. Players who want a heavy, I Form based four-minute offense should look elsewhere, because the 21 plays across Strong I and I Form will not carry a game plan.
Search every playbook by tag and personnel grouping, not just NFL Live Cardinals Offense.
Build the core of your audible package entirely inside Shotgun, picking three or four of the 23 sets that cover different personnel (an 11 trips look, a 10 spread look, a 20 two-back look) so you can answer any coverage without changing formation family on first and second down.
Put your Pistol sets in the same audible group as your Shotgun run calls and use them on second and short through second and six: Power, Counter and Toss out of Pistol share a pre-snap shell with your Play Action, which is where this book earns its money.
Save Strong I and I Form for third and one, fourth and one and four-minute offense only. With 12 and 9 plays respectively in single sets, they lose value fast if you show them on normal downs, so keep them off your audible wheel and call them manually.
On third and seven or longer, live in the Cover 3 Beater and Spot family from Shotgun trips. Curls and Bench give you the intermediate spacing to sit down in zone windows, and you can hot route the outside receiver to a fade if the user rolls to single high.
Use Goal Line Offense inside the two yard line and nowhere else. It is one set with 14 plays, so mix in a Pistol or Shotgun call from the same distance to keep the defense from committing to a goal line personnel guess.
