HB Mid Draw out of Shotgun Spread Y-Flex Wk is a designed delayed handoff that disguises as a five man pass protection look before the HB attacks the interior gaps. The offensive line sets up like they are pass blocking to bait the front seven upfield, then the center and guards climb to the second level to clear a running lane once the HB presses the mesh point. This is a pure run play built to punish aggressive pass rushers and blitz heavy defenses, and the primary read is the HB reading the double team at the point of attack before pressing his aiming point off the center to either side of the A gap bubble.
