If the defense shows single high safety or a heavy box, be ready to hot route the crosser into a deeper break or bail early to the flat and seam combo on the right side to avoid a contested throw into the middle.

Use play-action rollout tempo to sell the run fake fully before resetting your feet, since defenders who bite on the fake will vacate the throwing lanes for the crosser.
