RPO Peek Slant out of Shotgun Doubles gives the QB a true run-pass option built off an inside zone look. The offensive line and the near backside receiver work a run action to the left while the front side flanker runs a quick slant and the outside receiver stems vertically before breaking back across the field on a deep crosser. The primary read is the run box: if the QB reads numbers favoring the run he hands it off, if a defender flows hard to peek the slant window, the QB pulls and hits the slant for a quick, easy completion underneath.
