HB Mid Draw KO is a designed draw run out of Shotgun Doubles that disguises as a dropback pass before handing off to the HB through the middle of the formation. The offensive line sets up in pass pro initially to bait the defensive line and linebackers into rushing upfield, then transitions into run blocks to create a lane up the gut. This is a pure run play with no play-action or RPO elements, and the primary read progression starts with the frontside gap, then bounces to the backside cutback lane if the initial hole is clogged.

Defensive Reads
