RPO Peek Slant is a run-pass option built off inside zone action from Shotgun Tight Y Off with 11 personnel. The diagram shows the backside slot receiver running a quick slant into the void vacated by the second-level defenders while the outside receiver stems vertically upfield and bends across the field on a deep dig or crossing route behind the linebackers. The quarterback reads the numbers in the box off the run action first, and if the defense stays honest against the zone run he peeks the slant as the immediate throw with the deep crosser as a big-play alert.
Defensive Reads

Check the box count pre-snap and if the defense has six or more defenders in the box, take the automatic slant throw instead of pulling the run
Use the peek read as a built-in answer against blitz-heavy defenses since the slant fills the vacated area from a blitzing linebacker almost instantly
Combine this with RPO Zone Peek and RPO Alert Bubble to keep defenses guessing on whether the ball is coming out pre-snap or on a delayed peek
Attack Cover 3 and Cover 1 looks where the slot corner or nickel flows hard with run action, since the slant window opens up quickly underneath
