Call this play against defenses that show heavy pressure or blitz looks pre-snap since the screen naturally slows down pass rushers and turns their aggression against them.

Check the defensive line alignment before the snap, if you see wide nine techniques or edge rushers crashing hard, this play has a great chance to break big.

Hold the ball for a beat after the snap to let your offensive linemen get out in front of the HB, then throw as soon as the release lane opens.
