Usage Tips

Sell the play fake with a full commitment on the joystick to freeze linebackers and hold the play side safety for an extra beat before the crosser clears their zone.

Check the deep safety alignment pre-snap, if you see a single high safety shaded toward the crosser's side, hot route the backside vertical to a comeback or dig to avoid a contested throw.

Use this against man coverage looks or Cover 3 shells where the crosser can run away from man defenders and find soft spots between zone drops.

Pair this with HB Dive or HB Zone earlier in a series so the defense respects the run fake and linebackers step up, opening more space for the crosser.

On third and medium, this play works well following Jet Touch Pass or Jet Pass Fk Zone since the jet motion tendency will bait linebackers into flowing wrong and widen the crossing lane.
