Playbooks
Broncos Offense and its sibling cut, NFL Live Broncos Offense, are effectively the same book. All 558 plays overlap and the two differ by zero sets, so there is no hidden formation or bonus set waiting in one version. If you are choosing between them, pick either one and spend your prep time learning the audible tree instead of comparing sheets, because whatever you build in one carries over identically to the other.
What you actually get is a 558 play offense across 9 formations and 43 sets, with Shotgun carrying 351 plays (63%) spread over 22 sets. That is a spread first, gun heavy book where the majority of your call sheet lives in one huddle and personnel changes happen through formation subs and audibles rather than by rotating in whole formation families. Singleback adds 93 plays (17%) over 9 sets as the between the tackles counterweight, and Pistol chips in 33 plays (6%) across 2 sets for downhill run looks out of a gun style depth. Concept coverage runs Play Action, Pass Play, Post, Dig, Curl, Corner, Wheel, Power, Power Run, Run Play, Dive and Sweep, so you have both the intermediate zone beater tree (Dig, Curl, Post) and the sideline man beater tree (Corner, Wheel) available from the same Shotgun personnel.
The heavy stuff is real but narrow. I Form (24 plays, 2 sets), Strong I (24 plays, 3 sets), Weak I (9 plays, 1 set), Full House (9 plays, 1 set) and Goal Line Offense (12 plays, 1 set) combine for 78 plays, and Full House is genuinely rare, appearing in only 9 of the game's 236 playbooks. Personnel ranges from 32 and 23 all the way out to 10, so the game plan this supports is simple: live in Shotgun 11 and 10 personnel on early downs, use Singleback and Pistol to keep the run honest, and pull out the Full House and Strong I packages as short yardage and red zone changeups that most opponents have never defended.
This book wants a quarterback who is comfortable making full field reads from Shotgun and accurate on intermediate Dig, Curl and Post throws, with enough mobility to sell the Pistol play action rollouts. A receiving back who can win on Wheel routes out of 11 and 10 personnel raises the ceiling, while a pair of big bodied blocking tight ends and a downhill back are what make the 23 and 32 personnel Full House, Strong I and Goal Line Offense packages worth carrying. Pick Broncos Offense if you are a spread first player who still wants a real short yardage identity, and skip it if your roster is built around heavy under center run volume, because only 57 plays sit in the I Form, Strong I and Weak I families combined.
Search every playbook by tag and personnel grouping, not just Broncos Offense.
Build your audible package almost entirely out of Shotgun, using the 22 sets to pair one run heavy set with one four wide 10 personnel set so you can flip between them on the same play call and change the defense's fit without a substitution.
On first and ten and second and medium, stay in Shotgun and lean on the Dig, Curl and Post concepts against zone, then hot route to Corner and Wheel work when the pre snap shell shows man press.
Use Singleback's 9 sets on second and short to second and medium as your run to pass bridge, since it gives you Power, Sweep and Dive looks plus Play Action off the same alignment for the sort of tendency breaking calls Shotgun alone cannot sell.
Save Full House and Strong I for third and one, fourth and short, and inside the ten. With only 9 plays in Full House and 24 in Strong I you cannot run them all game, but as a two or three snap package per game they catch opponents with no reps against the look.
Reach for Pistol on second and long or after a sack, running its Run Play and Power Run calls to reset the down while keeping the quarterback at depth for play action rollouts. Leave Hail Mary's 3 plays where they belong, as end of half and end of game only.
