Usage Tips

Call this out of Big Dime personnel on early downs or third and medium when you expect the offense to test a two deep shell with vertical route combos.

Watch the pre-snap safety alignment closely, if both safeties are cheating deep before the snap the disguise is less effective, so mix in Cover 2 Invert and Cover 2 Man from this same set to keep quarterbacks guessing.

Use the rotating deep defender to bracket number one on the strong side, this is especially useful against stack or bunch formations trying to get vertical leverage.

Pair this call with Cover 9 Sammie or Bracket 9 Switch in your play-calling sequence, the shells look identical pre-snap but rotate differently post-snap, which punishes quarterbacks who key coverage too early.
