Defensive Reads

Pre-snap, check trips or bunch formations that stack receivers to one side, since that can overload one of your underneath zone defenders and create a natural throwing lane. User the deep middle defender if you anticipate a seam route from the slot, since AI zone drops can be late getting depth against fast vertical stems. Pair this call with Cover 3 Match or Cover 3 Buzz Mable in your play-calling sequence so the offense sees a similar shell pre-snap but gets a different underneath rules structure, making it harder for them to key your zone drops.
