Breakdown

Slants comes out of Shotgun Y Off Trips with a trips receiver bunch to one side and a single WR to the other. The trips side runs three slants stacked at different depths, converging on the same throwing lane, while the backside single receiver runs a slant of his own breaking to the opposite hash. This is a quick-hitting man beater built to attack inside leverage and beat trail technique, with the primary read starting on the shallowest slant from the trips side and working up to the deeper slants if the first window is jumped, then working backside to the single WR slant if the trips concept is squeezed.

Use the hot route to convert the outside trips receiver to a fade or slant and go if you see a corner sitting too far inside expecting the slant

This play shines on 2nd and short or 3rd and 3 to 5 where the quick underneath windows match the sticks
