Use this play on second and medium or third and short to medium since the underneath drive and drag give you a quick, high percentage completion window.

Pair TE Drive with PA TE Seam or PA X Burst Cross from the same set to keep the defense honest, since both plays hit similar landmarks off play action and force linebackers to respect the run fake before dropping into coverage.

Against zone heavy defenses, hold the ball a half second longer to let the drive route work across the field into the open window vacated by underneath defenders flowing outside.
