Trick Play

The Trick Play tag identifies 64 gadget concepts spread across 6 formations and 25 sets, including double passes like HB Pass and Cheat TE Double Pass, reverses like Pitch WR Reverse and Mtn DBL Post Reverse Dragon, and special teams fakes like Fake Fg H Shovel and Fake Fg Kicker Flip. These plays punish aggressive user-controlled defenders and overpursuing zone defenses by selling run action or a standard kick look before attacking the vacated space downfield. Filtering by this tag lets competitive players quickly build a situational package of man beaters and deep shot calls from familiar looks like Singleback, Shotgun, Strong I, and Pistol, so they can break tendencies in high-leverage downs without tipping the call pre-snap.
