Usage Tips

Use this play inside the 10 yard line when you need a high percentage one on one shot against man coverage. Check the cornerback pre-snap, if he is playing tight outside leverage the fade wins on a back shoulder throw, if he shades inside bail to the post immediately. Motion or shift the single receiver on the backside to confirm man versus zone before the snap, a defender following the motion confirms man coverage and green lights the fade shot. Pair this call with Y Corner KO or RZ Short Posts earlier in the drive so the defense respects the corner and post combos, then hit this fade when they overplay the underneath routes. Save this for third and short or goal line situations where the defense is more likely to play man across the board to protect against the run.
