Defensive Reads

Use the pre-snap motion to identify man versus zone before the snap, if the defender follows the motion man across the formation you have a clean man coverage tell and the post should win versus most single-high looks.
Attack this play on second and medium or third and long when defenses are more likely to sit in single-high man concepts to take away shorter zone beaters.
Hot route the underneath outlet receiver to a shallow drag if you see a two-high shell rotating down, this gives you a checkdown against zone coverage without needing the post to clear the safety.
