Motion the FB or use a slight formation shift to bait the defense into revealing whether they are playing assignment football on the edge or selling out to stop the toss. Against aggressive user defenders flying downhill from the second level, hold the snap for a beat longer mentally and trust the edge blocks rather than trying to cut it back into traffic.
