Return Slot Screen is a slot receiver screen out of Shotgun Doubles Offset Wk that uses the offset backfield motion to disguise a quick throw to the slot receiver returning across the formation behind a screen of blockers. The offensive line and adjacent receivers release to set a wall in front of the returning slot man, making this a designed answer to aggressive pressure and overplayed man coverage. Usage Tips

Call this play when you diagnose blitz pre-snap through blitz indicators like linebackers creeping to the line or safeties rotating down into the box

Use it on early downs after showing RPO Alert Bubble or RPO Peek Orbit Bubble from the same set so defenders are conditioned to crash on bubble action and get caught flat footed by the slot return concept

Throw the screen as soon as your blockers clear their release, do not hold the ball and let the rush disciplined defense recover, this is a timing throw not a progression read

Pair with Jet QB Sweep or Buck Sweep Behind earlier in a series to get linebackers flowing hard toward perimeter run action, then dial this up to punish overpursuit

Avoid calling this into disciplined zone defenses that keep underneath defenders home, since screen blockers will have nobody to hit and the play dies behind the line
