Breakdown

Strike HB Seam out of Shotgun Doubles Offset Wk lines up three receivers to the left and one receiver plus the HB to the right. To the left, the two outside receivers push vertical routes up the sideline while the inside slot receiver runs a deep post through the middle of the field, creating a natural three level stretch on that side. To the right, the lone receiver runs a corner route stretching the sideline while the HB releases out of the backfield on a seam route up the middle, splitting the difference between the underneath linebackers and the deep safety. This is a man beater built around the HB seam as the primary read, with the post and corner routes serving as the deep progression reads if the seam gets taken away.

Key the middle linebacker before the snap, if he widens out to cover the slot receiver's post the HB seam window opens up immediately

Against man coverage, throw the HB seam as soon as the running back clears the second level linebacker, this route wins quickly versus linebackers who cannot match speed

Against zone shells like Cover 3 or Cover 4, look to the post route from the slot receiver since it will split the deep zones if the middle safety bites on the seam

Pair this play with RPO Peek Slant or RPO Alert Bubble from the same set to keep defenses honest, since the pre-snap look is nearly identical and forces linebackers to hesitate
