Blitz packages that send extra rushers up field are exactly what this play is designed to exploit, since the rushers overrun the play and the lead blockers get a clean angle on the second level. If you see a user controlled defender spying the backfield or hovering near the line instead of committing to coverage or the rush, that is a sign the defense has recognized the screen tendency and you should be ready to check to another play from this set.
