Usage Tips

Use this on early downs or manageable third and short situations where defenses are more likely to sit in base run fronts. Presnap, identify if the defense has stacked the box or shows man coverage on the flat receiver, since a crowded box is your green light to pull and throw. If the flat defender squats or shows soft zone leverage, take the automatic keep and hit the flat route for a chunk of yardage before the defense can react. Pair this call with Mtn RPO Peek Swing or RPO Zone Bubble earlier in a drive so the defense has to respect both the perimeter throw and the interior counter hit. Hot route the two decoy receivers on the right into quick hitters or a slant if you want to add a second answer against zone coverage that sits on the flat read. Snap the ball quickly out of a no huddle look to prevent the defense from diagnosing the counter blocking and rotating extra defenders into the box.
