Bunch Base is the heavy personnel wrinkle inside Singleback, pairing 21 personnel (2 RB, 1 TE) with a compressed three man cluster to the strong side. Instead of the balanced 3WR looks you get from sets like Wing Flex or Doubles, you are lining up with a second back detached as an H, giving you a legitimate run game feel with a bunch release package attached. The tight spacing means the bunch receivers get free releases off the line, which is exactly what breaks man coverage in Madden. Defenders assigned to the inside bunch players get caught in traffic on the snap, and press man turns into an automatic loss for the defense.
Read the alignment over your bunch pre snap: if the defense stacks three defenders over the cluster it is man, so go straight to Spacing, Seattle, or Z Spot and let the traffic do the work
Against single high with a linebacker walked over the bunch, run H Zone Str or HB Power Toss to the weak side where the box is lighter, then come back with PA Zone WK on the same look
Save End Around Lead and PA End Around for second and short or third and short in plus territory, when the defense is crowding the box and a user is committed to the run fit
On PA Verticals, hot route the outside bunch receiver on a corner or fade to clear the sideline, then work the seam behind a biting safety
Use Z Option and Z Spot as your third down staples, and block or drag the H back so you always have a checkdown when a user defender takes away the primary sit route
