RPO Alert Bubble is an RPO out of Shotgun Trio Y-Flex that pairs an inside zone run read with a quick bubble screen to the slot receiver. Backside, two receivers run a crossing drag combo underneath while the outside receiver stems vertically before breaking flat, giving the quarterback a run/pass conflict read on the flowing linebacker. Pre-snap, identify the alley defender or slot corner responsible for the bubble screen and use the RPO alert key to decide run or throw before the snap even develops. Against teams that spam Cover 2 or Cover 3 zone drops, favor the bubble screen since flowing linebackers open up easy yardage. Use hot routes to convert the backside drag into a deeper dig if you see man coverage with no safety help over the top. Best used on first and second down when defenses are playing base personnel and linebackers are reading run fits aggressively.
