Usage Tips
Call this on early downs or third and medium when you expect the offense to attack with quick game or crossing routes since your press man corners can disrupt timing at the snap.
Check the receiver alignment before the snap and if you see a stack or bunch look, consider audibling your corners to a different technique or switching to Cover 2 Invert to avoid a natural rub route beating your man defenders.
Use your user controlled defender to sit in a passing lane against a known slot receiver or shift into a lurk role over the middle if you read a crossing route developing to jump the throw.
Pair this call with Cov 2 Invert Hard Flat and Cover 4 Palms in your play calling sequence so the offense cannot key on your safety rotation before the snap.
Avoid calling this against heavy seam shot concepts or deep out combos since the two deep safeties cannot help both seams at once, so mix in Cover 4 Quarters when you expect a vertical shot play.
