Defensive Reads

Usage Tips

Use pre snap motion or a quick glance at the box count before the snap to decide if you are staying on the run track or pulling it for the flat throw

If the defense shows a light box with only six or fewer defenders in the run fit, trust the ground game and let the RPO logic take you there

Against zone shells with linebackers flowing hard to the run action, pull the ball immediately and hit the Y flat for a free access completion

This play works best on early downs when defenses are honoring the run, so mix it with straight Inside Zone Split or HB Iso to keep linebackers guessing
