This is a classic Cover 4 beater built to attack the seams and flood the underneath zones with the drive combo once the two verticals occupy the deep quarters defenders. Primary read starts with the drive route crossing the middle, then works to the corner route sitting behind it, and check down to the flat out route if the middle gets clogged.
Defensive Reads
Pre-snap, check safety depth: if both safeties sit deep and wide before the snap, expect Cover 4 and the drive route should be open in the intermediate middle. Watch linebacker depth at the snap, a linebacker sinking hard underneath the drive route signals a zone drop meant to take away this exact concept. Man coverage shows up if a defender mirrors the slot receiver step for step through the drive route stem, in that case work the corner route or the flat out for separation. User lurk defenders sitting in the shallow middle can jump the drive route, so if you see a user spy the middle hole, throw off timing and go to the corner route instead. A disguised blitz with the middle linebacker crashing pre-snap kills this play's timing, so have a hot route or check ready if you see extra rushers stacked near the box.

Use pre-snap motion or a hot route audible to check if defenders shift with the slot receiver, this reveals man versus zone instantly.
Against Cover 4, trust the drive route crossing underneath since quarters defenders often widen with the verticals and open the middle.
Call this on 2nd and medium to long since the deep verticals hold safeties and the drive route needs a beat to develop.
Pair FL Drive with Quads Switch Seam or Deep Fork in the same set so defenders keying on verticals get punished by different route depths on the next snap.
If the user drops a linebacker into the drive route's lane, immediately look to the corner route sitting behind him for the window.
