Defensive Reads

Use the flat defenders to squeeze bubble screens and RPO flat routes before they develop, since the corners are already rolled down to jump those throws.

Pair Cover 2 Roll with Cover 2 Invert or Roll Cover 2 Invert in the same play sequence so the offense cannot key on which safety is rolling down presnap.

Watch for trips or bunch formations that can overload one flat defender, and shade your zone drops toward the strength of the formation before the snap.
