Franchise Playsheet
Fullback Fury is a 40 play situational playsheet built around one idea: put a fullback on the field, keep the defense in base personnel, and grind the game out. All 40 plays live in four heavy formations across four sets, so there is no spread package to fall back on and no empty look to bail you out. I Form leads the book with 12 plays (30%), Flexbone follows at 10 (25%), and Maryland I and Strong I each carry 9 (23%). The personnel is 20, 21 and 30 only, meaning two and three running back sets with at most one tight end. You are lining up in condensed, run-first looks on every snap and forcing the defense to decide whether to load the box or defend Curls and Curl Flat off the same formations.
The concept list tells you exactly what this is: Duo, Power Run, Dive, Iso, Outside Zone and Misdirection carry the run game, while Bench, In, Crosser and Curl handle the pass. That is a downhill gap and zone menu paired with intermediate timing routes, not a vertical shot book. 494 F Flat out of Flexbone is the kind of play that makes the whole sheet work, because it comes out of a formation that appears in only 2 of the game's 236 playbooks. Maryland I is nearly as rare at 5 playbooks. Most opponents have never repped defending either look, so their pre-snap recognition and user alignment are guesswork the first few times you line up.
Choosing Fullback Fury over a balanced franchise sheet means trading option breadth for formation unfamiliarity and run game depth. At 40 plays it is larger than 83% of the game's 42 offensive franchise playsheets, but that volume is concentrated rather than spread, which is actually an advantage for a player who wants to master a small number of looks and run every concept out of each. This is a clock control game plan: win early downs with Duo and Iso, use Misdirection to punish overpursuit, and take the Curl and Crosser concepts when the safeties finally creep.
Fullback Fury wants a fullback with high impact blocking and lead block ratings, a power back with trucking and stiff arm for the Duo, Dive and Iso volume, and a mauling interior offensive line that can win gap schemes. The quarterback does not need elite mobility or arm strength, but he does need accuracy on short and intermediate throws to hit the Curl, In and Bench windows, and at least one receiver who can beat press since the formations keep everyone condensed. This is a playbook for the clock control franchise player who wants to shorten games, protect a defense, and punish opponents who have never lined up against Flexbone or Maryland I.

Build your primary audible package out of I Form since it holds 12 plays (30%), and bind a Duo, an Outside Zone and Curls to the same set so first and ten never reveals your intent.
Save Flexbone for short yardage and goal line, third and one through third and three, where the 30 personnel look and the rarity factor buy you a free snap before the defense adjusts its front.
Use Maryland I as your play action trigger in the second half once the defense has committed safeties down, then take the Crosser and In concepts over the vacated middle.
Motion the fullback out of Strong I on early downs to identify man versus zone, then check into Iso against a light box or Curl Flat if the coverage rotates.
On second and long, do not abandon the run game: Misdirection and Outside Zone out of I Form get more from an overaggressive defense than the intermediate pass menu will.
