Corner Strike out of Shotgun Trips Y-Flex is a man beater built around corner routes from the trips side stacking the boundary corner and safety while the backside receiver runs a hitting route to hold the single high defender. The Y-TE flexes out and works an intermediate breaking route to occupy underneath zone or linebacker coverage, giving the quarterback a high low look on the corner side. Primary progression starts with the outside trips corner route against off man or Cover 3 rotation, then works down to the flex TE breaking route if the corner is capped, and finally to the backside hitter as a checkdown against pressure.
