Bingo Cross out of Singleback Tight Doubles (11 personnel) sends both outside receivers vertical on go routes to clear the deep coverage, while the tight end runs a deep crossing route from the backside that works underneath those verticals. The backfield back releases into the flat with a quick outward route, and the slot receiver runs a short drag underneath to hold linebackers. This is a man beater built around the crosser creating natural separation against man coverage, with the primary read progression starting on the tight end's crosser, checking down to the flat route from the back, and going to the verticals only if a corner blitzes or the safety bites on the shallow routes.
Defensive Reads
Check the middle of the field pre-snap, a single high safety means the verticals can eventually stretch coverage vertically even though they are not your first read. Watch the flat defender, if he widens with the running back immediately the tight end's crosser has a clean throwing lane. Man coverage on the tight end is the green light, take the crosser as soon as it clears the formation. Cover 3 or Cover 4 zone drops will sit a linebacker in the crosser's path, so be ready to check down to the flat route instead of forcing it. Watch for a delayed blitz off the edge since the tight end release into the crosser can be susceptible to late pressure if the flat route does not hold the underneath defender.

Pair Bingo Cross with Shallow Cross and Under from this same set so the defense cannot key on the crosser tempo, then hit them with PA Boot to freeze linebackers who start jumping the pass game.
Best called on second or third down with 5 to 8 yards needed, giving the crosser and flat route enough field to convert.
