Look for a linebacker blitz off the edge, since the TE release into the flat or seam is the built in answer against pressure that forces a quick throw. Cover 3 with a hard flat defender and Cover 1 with no safety help over the top are the coverages most vulnerable to this concept, while Cover 4 or Cover 2 with a deep half safety sitting on the corner route can take away the top read and force you to live underneath.
