Defensive Reads

Pre-snap, identify if the defense has two deep safeties splitting the field evenly; if so the corner route from the bunch has a clean throwing lane against quarters rotation.

If you see man coverage with a linebacker or slot corner matched on the drive route, hot route that receiver into a quicker option or user the underneath crosser to create natural rub separation off the bunch traffic.

Pair this play with Mtn Bunch Whip Smash or Mtn Bunch Switch Flood in the same set so the defense cannot key on the bunch releases, forcing them to respect both shallow and deep concepts.

Against aggressive user blitzes, hot route the backside single receiver into a quick out or slant to give the quarterback a fast answer before the corner route develops.
