Usage Tips
Use the RB orbit motion pre-snap to bait linebackers into flowing with the swing action before the snap even happens, this often reveals man versus zone based on whether a defender follows the motion.
Key the play side linebacker and flat defender immediately at the snap, if they crash inside on run action pull the ball and throw the swing quickly for a numbers advantage on the perimeter.
This play shines on early downs (1st and 10 or 2nd and short) when defenses are geared up to stop inside zone runs, since the RPO look punishes aggressive run fits.
