Usage Tips
Use pre-snap motion sparingly here since the RB alignment already creates a natural zone read look, but check the defensive front width before the snap to confirm you have double team potential at the point of attack.
Identify if the defense is in a 1 high or 2 high shell since single high safeties often mean an extra run defender in the box, which should push you toward the cutback rather than forcing it playside.
Hot route the TE into a stalk block or use manual assignment if you see a blitzing linebacker crashing down hard, since Y Off Close alignment gives you an extra gap protector if needed.
Pair this with Read Option and PA Zone Fk Jet from the same set to keep defenses honest, since both plays sell the same zone action but threaten the edge or play-action shot instead.
Best used on first and second down in normal distance situations, and mix in Zone Fake Jet as a companion call once the defense starts keying hard on the interior run fits.
