The Trap Coverage tag identifies defensive calls like SS 2 Trap, Nickel 2 Trap, and Cover 6 Trap, where a flat defender sits shallow to bait the quarterback, then breaks on out, corner, and flat routes while safeties rotate over the top to cap vertical threats. It tracks these calls across 7 formations (including 4-3, Nickel, Dime, 4-2-5, Big Nickel, Quarter, and 3-4) and 23 sets such as Over G, 2-4 Dbl Mug, and 3-3 Odd. Competitive players can use it to quickly find sideline-jumping zone looks that punish quick-game flood concepts and pair them with pre-snap disguises or a user-controlled hook defender.
